5K REGISTRATION IS OPEN

The Friends of Belle Isle are excited to announce the return of the park’s 5K run/walk/stroll on April 22. The RAPP RIVER RUN will be both a traditional 5K run on our certified course and an event for those wishing a more leisurely pace with grandparents, kids, pets, and neighbors.

All registered race finishers will receive the Rapp River Run cap. We’re working on prizes for the winners.

AND, the event will celebrate both Earth Day and the 30th BIRTHDAY OF BELLE ISLE STATE PARK. This beautiful park on the Rappahannock River was born in April 1993. It now welcomes over 48,000 visitors annually. Birthday cake for all!

Put April 22 on your calendar now.

Check in at 8:30 AM. Race begins at 9:00 AM.

There is an entry fee of $30 for those 18 and over and $15 if you are younger.
