Get out, enjoy the park, and learn. Walks are led by park volunteers and members of the Northern Neck Master Naturalists. These monthly walks are over for 2025 – check back soon for the walks in 2026.

NEXT FRIENDS MEETING - Stay tuned for news about our first meeting in 2026, February 2 at 4 p.m. Our October meeting was enjoyed by Friends and park Staff - especially the fabulous pot-luck dinner. We are pleased to have a new Friend's President, Charles Blake. Charles is ready to go - full of energy, and I hope we can keep up with him. We are sad to lose the leadership of Frances Callaghan, but Frances will remain an active member and chair of the MBTR sponsorship committee. Re-elected officers are Jack Larson, VP: Karen Newton, Secretary: and Brian Bennett, Treasurer. A very special award was given to long-time member Bob Mason - see feature post.
