There is a lot going on at Belle Isle on Kids Day, May 16. Vessel safety exams 9-12 at the canoe or motorboat launches; a butterfly safari at 11 in the canoe launch parking lot; and an owl pellet detective program at 3 at the visitor center.
The park has been specially prepped with spring wildflowers, immaculate trails, and many picnic areas. Lots of fun for the whole family – including leashed pets.
Of course there are programs every weekend. Get the kids outside and enjoy the park any day!
